In October, 2022, I took my long awaited trip to Monhegan Island. I had a couple trips planned prior to this one that had failed so this trip was exciting for me because of his artistic residents. The weather was cool & a magnificent storm blew through while I was there & I ventured out with my artist friend Tom Kelley to capture ocean waves crashing the shore. I’m fortunate my camera didn’t die from its exposure to the elements. However, I chose to paint the beautiful weather here at the Monhegan Bell & I’ll save the stormy pieces for a bigger canvas.
