This painting was of an acquaintance's chicken whom I painted during my first 30 Day Art Challenge. This challenge was all in watercolor & of my friends' pets. I love painting animals & I set a challenge for myself when I feel my art needs to be less restrictive. I have a tendency to get a little tight & too literal so, I will set a challenge & I’ll do a painting a day which really helps me to loosen up my brushstrokes.
